LEARN MORE ABOUT NAEYC or NAFCC ACCREDITATION
NAEYC Accreditation - Since 1985, the National Association for the Education of Young Children Accreditation for centers has provided a voluntary, national system for those concerned about the quality of early childhood education to evaluate their programs and commit to ongoing quality improvements. In 2002, the NAEYC Governing Board established a project to update accreditation and improve the reliability and accountability of the system. NAFCC Accreditation - The National Association for Family Child Care is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting quality early childhood education by strengthening the profession of in-home child care. NAFCC facilitates state and local associations in supporting individual in-home child care providers; encouraging professional development; celebrating and recognizing quality improvements; advocating for quality early childhood education; and promoting the diversity of the family child care profession through training, state and local associations, public education, and board memberships.
